New Adult Supported Living House Opens in Sequim, WA.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday, December 18 for the ribbon cutting ceremony at our new supported living facility in Sequim, WA.

The home is owned by KWA and operated in partnership with the Olympic Peninsula Special Needs Housing and CCH Individualized Support Services.

The home, which caters to developmentally disabled adults, features six bedrooms on the main floor, with an apartment on the second floor for a live-in manager. Four of the bedrooms will be occupied by full-time residents, while the other two will be reserved for respite. OPSNH has also selected a live-in nurse who can oversee all nurse-delegated tasks that may be required. These in-home care services are provided at little to no cost for the residents.

The home was purchased by KWA with a portion of funds provided by the Washington State Housing Trust Fund. Much of the interior has been remodeled and will be brand new for the incoming occupants.
