Pierce County uses a system called Coordinated Entry to connect people experiencing homelessness or who are at imminent risk of homelessness to an available bed or safe place to stay.

A Coordinated Entry Specialist will help families and individuals access services, information and a housing wait list that can only be accessed through Coordinated Entry.

KWA can assist any individual or family who:

  1. Is fleeing, or is attempting to flee, domestic violence;
  2. Has no other residence; and
  3. Lacks the resources or support networks to obtain other permanent housing

Three ways to access our Coordinated Entry Program:

  1. Call 2-1-1 for live, on-demand support or to schedule an appointment.
  2. Request a call back from a KWA specialist through our online portal. Click here to schedule a phone appointment and a specialist will give you a call within two business days of reviewing your information.
  3. Walk-ins are welcome Monday and Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until noon and 1:30 pm until 3:00 p.m. (closed for lunch from 12:00–1:00 p.m.) To get more information call 253-389-2002
