KWA has partnered with National Council on Aging (NCOA) to ensure older adults and people with disabilities get the latest COVID and Flu vaccines.

This program is federally funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL).

Throughout the program, KWA will

  1. conduct multilingual outreach,
  2. engage ethnic seniors, homebound seniors, and seniors with disabilities,
  3. educate them on the vaccinations,
  4. work with partners to host vaccination events, and
  5. offer transportation to and from vaccination sites.

Our latest activities expand upon our successful vaccination outreach and uptake efforts.

KWA has an extensive network of community partners in the target area, including senior centers, places of worship, refugee and immigrant service organizations, senior housing facilities, social services, public partners, nonprofits, and others, with whom we collaborate on outreach.

In addition, we work with several local ethnic media outlets to distribute information about new programs and benefits.

KWA has a strong track record of serving seniors and operates multiple senior centers, living facilities, and meal sites.
