This program helped more than 13,890 individuals and families in 2019 access at least one or more public benefits as such basic food, Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, LIHEAP, Energy Assistance, Lifeline phone discount, etc.

Job readiness provides participants the skills to create a basic resume, create an email account, and learn to search for jobs online. We educate families on financial literacy counseling including understanding credit scores, credit reports, and budgeting which helps the clients to reduce expenses and to save for purchasing cars and eventually a house.

KWA benefit enrollment staff can facilitate the enrollment process and assess your eligibility to receive assistance with healthcare, food, utilities, and other basic needs.
