The Korean Women’s Association (KWA) is excited to announce nominations to join the Board of Trustees is open from August 15-November 13, 2020.
KWA is looking for an engaged and passionate professional who will be an active participant of dedicated professionals who make up KWA’s Board of Trustees.
We have a long history of being a group of leaders who demonstrate empathy and compassion for the state’s most vulnerable communities. We are proud of the services we provide and the vision we give to the programs delivered by KWA.

The KWA Board of Trustees brings a passionate commitment to KWA’s mission of providing social and human services to people in need. Many members have several decades of leadership and service experience within the organization. As a whole, the board is dedicated to seeking out new ways of transforming Western Washington communities while assuring the transparency of our operations and wise allocation of resources.
Nominees for the KWA Board of Trustees should be senior professionals and leaders who are committed to KWA’s Mission and Core Values and who have experience in strategic planning and managing multi-disciplinary responsibilities, the ability to navigate among diverse professional groups and points of view, a track record of communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment and high standards of integrity and professional conduct.
Nominees and applicants may apply online. The nomination process is open between August 15 and November 13, 2020. More information such as the Board’s bylaws, articles of incorporation, printable application, and Board of Trustees’ job descriptions are also available at that links.
