KWA receives funding from Tacoma Pierce County Health Department’s Preventable Hospitalization Initiative in 2019, to provide training and technical assistance related to Screening Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and Motivational Interviewing. Suzanne Pak partners with Bonnie Corns to deliver nine training sessions for 359 health, behavioral health, and social service providers in Pierce County.
